Thesis type SIMULATION
Description The activity consists in identifying the correct setup for the numerical simulation of a cylindrical hole for refrigeration of a flat sheet in a turbulent compressible regime. The final goal is to reproduce the available experimental data in the best possible way, taking into account the uncertainties related to the knowledge of the boundary conditions, manufacturing and model limits (stationary, Reynolds-averaged). The methods used are to be identified in the course of the activity and are part of the family of optimization methods, even if in this case they will be used to identify the most likely setup around the one declared experimentally.
