Description Development of an image processing system for the detection of the colored dot present on the side of the tires supplied to car vendors to facilitate assembly (e.g.: https://www.tuningblog.eu/wp-content/uploads/ 2021/10 / bunte-Punkte-Streifen-Neureifen-bedeutung.jpg). The goal is to carry out a 100% automatic verification in order to avoid visual checks and to reduce the margins of error (the absence of the point causes returns).
Required skills Basics of machine learning and (if possible) image processing; programming
Notes Collaboration with local team and with technicians of the French parent company. Knowledge of at least one language between English, French and German (in addition to Italian) is required.
Expected 3 days full time / week at Michelin Cuneo (Ronchi locality) with reimbursement of expenses.
