Description The focus of the thesis is Fuel Cell (FC) used in automotive applications. The activity consists in the evaluation of the environmental impacts and costs adopting a life cycle perspective. To do so the best practices in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) shall be applied. The activity will start with data collection and Life Cycle Inventories (LCIs) creation of the selected FCs. The whole life cycle model (comprehensive of costs and environmental impacts) shall be completed with sensitivity analysis and uncertainty analysis using the Monte Carlo Method. The expected outcome is the quantitative assessment of the emissions and costs of the FC (or of different FCs in comparison) and the estimation of the emissions at vehicle level.
