In literature there are many works that attest the effectiveness of virtual reality in the educational field, but the comparison between different teaching technologies / tools has not been investigated so far.
The student goal is to perform a benchmark between a traditional e-learning / e-assessment tool (Computer Based Training) and an immersive Virtual Reality System (VRS). The task examined is related to a training experience on a complex equipment, considering objective features (time, number and type of errors) and subjective characteristics (ease of use, mental workload, frustration, task complexity, stress, user experience).
The thesis will be carried out at Leonardo S.p.A. premises.
