Description In today's environment, electric vehicles play an increasingly important role, and the electrical storage component is crucial. Lithium-ion batteries are the main protagonists, and one of their "critical" points lies in predicting and blocking thermal runaway. This thesis aims to model and to evaluate the phenomenon of thermal runaway in vehicles with LIB systems, inside confined spaces, such as road tunnels. The study approach can be multiple, through calculation codes, multi-physics numerical methods and risk analysis in such spaces.
