Design and Development of a cluster of mini radio sonde to measure the Lagrnagian fluctuations of physical quantities in the atmosphere

keywords ELECTRONIC BOARDS, FIRMWARE, METEOROLOGY, PCB DESIGN

Reference persons EROS GIAN ALESSANDRO PASERO, VINCENZO RANDAZZO, DANIELA TORDELLA

Research Groups Neuronics (Artificial Neural Networks)

Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL

Description The research activity involves the design of an innovative mini radio sonde for measuring fluctuations in temperature, pressure and humidity within warm clouds. The student should pay particular attention to minimizing the weight and dimensions of the PCB.
Associated firmware development will also be required. The firmware will be developed in collaboration with the research team of the MIGRE project. Particular attention must be paid to maximizing the life of the probe battery; therefore, the firmware must be developed in accordance with the "low-power" paradigm and must be able to manage the microcontroller in this sense.
