Thesis type SIMULATION AND DESIGN

Description Dynamic simulation models are proving to be increasingly realistic and reliable, to the point of being able to accurately and faithfully simulate the dynamic behavior of their real counterpart, even when this is still in the design phase. For this purpose, they are often used to support the design phase, testing solutions still "on paper", with evident savings in time and resources.
Fundamental to their effectiveness is the use of source data as accurate and representative as possible. When the data relating to the aircraft to be modeled are not completely available (such as during the design phase, it is therefore necessary to estimate them with the greatest possible accuracy, in order not to negatively impact the results of the simulation models built with such data.
In this context TXT e-Solutions, in collaboration with the Politenico di Torino, intends to study a methodology to estimate the values of the stability and control derivatives of an aircraft, starting from its geometric and inertial characteristics.
