Description The thesis involves the construction of data analytics techniques for monitoring an extrusion machine (MX7), a novel innovative prototype of rubber industry and subject to several Michelin patents, dedicated to the extrusion of tire treads.
The student will have to study the process and correlate the process parameters of this plant with the geometry of the product obtained, in order to monitor and improve the quality of the product itself.
Collaboration with local team and with technicians of the French parent company. Knowledge of at least one language between English, French and German (in addition to Italian) is required.
Expected 3 days full time / week at Michelin Cuneo (Ronchi locality) with reimbursement of expenses.
