Description The thesis concerns the design of a refurbished district heating network connected to a group of users, in which modular heat generators are inserted. The internal works for the transition from superheated water to hot water are also considered, together with the evaluation of the heat losses, the re-sizing of the new circuits, and the connection to a CHP system.
The plant delivers a thermal power of about 30 MW and serves around 20 sub-stations.
