Description Gamification is a trending activity which aims at enhancing users' performance and engagement by using game-like mechanics. In recent years many gamified tools have been proposed, each one with some benefits and drawback.
Crowdsourcing is the process of outsourcing a complex problem by breaking it down into different sub-problems of a lower level of complexity and letting them to be solved by the crowd. This approach reduces the burden of solving complex tasks such as GUI testing, which has to face with Graphical User Interface, which are non trivial component.
Starting from an existing Google Chrome plugin realizing a gamified environment for GUI testing the thesis will explore the different techniques of crowdsourcing, eventually proposing new solutions, and enhancing real time features of the existing plugin.
