Description Morphologically characterize, by means of micrographic inspection, chemically and electro-chemically treated aluminum sheets to increase their resistance to corrosion. In particular, the deoxidation, anodization and chemical conversion processes will be evaluated as part of the thesis. For the surfaces, the dimensional / morphological parameters characterizing the process must be assessed and how they vary with the different treatments and the exposure times of the surfaces to the environment.
Required skills Aluminum alloys, surface properties.
Notes Attivitą svolta in collaborazione con una primaria azienda aeronautica.
