Description Neuroscience is providing increasingly surprising and fascinating results. A topic of recent interest is the possibility of stimulating the brain through a system controlled by the user's cortical responses, monitored in a non-invasive way by electroencephalography (EEG signal). The stimulus can be electrical or magnetic, rather than a sound or images administered by a virtual reality system. As part of this thesis, the systems made available by GEA Soluzioni s.r.l. (https://www.geasoluzioni.it/) will be used to administer stimuli and evaluate their response through real time processing of the EEG signal. Indicators extracted from the EEG signal will then be used to adapt the stimulus to the user, in order to obtain in an optimized way a desired effect, which could be relaxation or a state of deep concentration.
