Description The proposed thesis involves applying simulation modeling concepts and theories to a case study, which consists of an automated warehouse located in the Laboratory of the Department of Management and Production Engineering of the Politecnico di Torino. The objective of this thesis is to develop a warehouse simulation model using the AnyLogic simulation software and validate an optimization algorithm used by the automated warehouse for the part-to-picker processes.
