Descrizione In this work, we will develop advanced models for the band gap analysis of hierarchical heterogeneous metamaterials. Particular attention will be focussed on the effect of environment conditions (thermal stresses, moisture concentrations, etc.). Implementation and simulation work will be carried out with the MUL2 software tool developed at Politecnico di Torino.
