Description The aim of this thesis is to analyze and study models for minimal microswimmers, in which the connections between the elementary components are modelled by springs. To prove the ability of the system to swim, it is possible to consider external forces (tipically of magnetic nature) and internal actuators, used as controls.
Required skills The necessary tools for this thesis are mainly continuum mechanics, ordinary differential equations and control theory.
