Description The thesis concerns the control system of the Flyeye telescope that will be used for space exploration in search of asteroids on a collision course with the Earth. The thesis activities may concern:
-Design and verification of the control system based on stepper motors, linear encoders, temperature sensors, and end switches;
-Calibration of the control system using the hardware;
-Performance and functional testing of the controller in real-time with the hardware.
-The control system design and verification will be performed in a Matlab/Simulink environment.
-The control system testing with the HW will be performed in a LabVIEW environment.
