Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL
Description The thesis aims to design and develop a distributed software platform to manage different dedicated machines for the production of water from atmospheric air. These machines are Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
This platform will foster the development of novel services, such as automatic management of the production process from remote IoT devices, considering all the forcing of the system (e.g., air temperature, relative humidity, power availability, water consumption, etc ...) aiming at maximising the daily water production and minimising the energy consumption.
The thesis will be carried out in Aquaseek (https://aquaseek.tech/), which is a company, spin-off of the Politecnico di Torino and the University of Princeton. With the main goal of making water an unlimited and sustainable resource, it has developed and patented a revolutionary technology capable of generating distilled water from atmospheric steam in unique conditions of low humidity and high efficiency
