Description In the near future, one of the most likely scenarios is the daily coexistence of humans and robots. This scenario will be in assistive robots for seniors, cleaning robots, reception robots in public or private shops.

Although there already exist technological tools to perform a secure motion in a crowded environment, not too many authors have studied a robot trajectory considering a prediction of human movement.

The thesis fits in this scenario and is focused on the simulation of a human motion model.

The candidate should follow the steps below:

State of the art of simulator in a sharing environment between humans and robots;
Human motion simulation;
Robot and human motion simulations.

Required skills Required skills:

Basic knowledge of ROS;
Basic knowledge of Python;
Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink.
