Description The project involves PIV measurements in turbulent channel flows developed over two types of walls: a canonical smooth/impermeable wall and a smooth/permeable wall with suction. The objective is to gain further understanding about the effects of suction on wall turbulence at different Reynolds numbers and suction rates. The problem is enormously relevant to model mass transfer processes in membrane systems.
