Description In the finite element analysis, to interface elements with different geometrical or material properties allows to study complex structures with simple models. The aim of the thesis is to develop and to implement interface techniques by using plate finite elements based on zigzag theories, by allowing to analyse composite and sandwich plates with variations of geometry and/or material properties.
