Descrizione The candidate will be introduced to the basics of nonlinear identification and modeling of structures with low tensile strength (e.g., masonry structures). It will deal with the identification of structural parameters that regulate the nonlinear response of these systems.
The identification process will be applied to multi-resolution numerical models in order to inferr how the discrepancy effects generated by the spatial resolution affect the dynamic response of structural components.
