Description The Teaching Portal of Politecnico di Torino is visited, every day, by 30.000 students, and includes all functionality needed to manage your study career. The current interface and content organization stems from the huge growth of available functions over the last decades, and Politecnico decided to fully redesign the User Experience and the User Interface.
The thesis will adopt a collaborative and user-centered development process, starting from the design choices of the new web site and of the new Students App, and will aim at a complete redesign of the interface of personal pages (student facing and teacher facing) of the Portal. The work method will include interviews, observations, development of mockup at low and high fidelity, user testing, and finally the implementation of an interactive prototype of the new interface, to be tested on a significative user base.
The project will be in strict collaboration with the ISIAD technical area of Politecnico, that will later implement the proposed interfaces in the actual Portal.
