Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL
Description The thesis work consists in evaluating the corrosion behavior of aluminum alloy specimens produced with laser powder bed fusion technology. The fluids that will be taken into consideration are the water and glycol mixtures which are typically used in heat exchangers. Initially, immersion tests will be performed at increasing times at room temperature and at a higher temperature significant for the application. Subsequently, tests in flow will be considered. The student is required to analyze the existing literature on the subject and follow the experimental part.
