Inertial separator for condensed vapors

Description The work includes a theoretical part and an experimental part. It is required to study the phenomenon of condensation of certain substances under controlled and repeatable conditions within simple geometries. The student will evaluate theoretically the particle concentration, before, during and after the condensation process. To validate the results obtained, an experiment will be designed in which some of the variables governing the phenomenon can be controlled. The measured data will be useful in extending the prediction of the operation of the inertial condensate vapor separator to other cases of industrial interest.
