Description The thesis will focus on the development of a spatial multi-criteria method (MCDA+GIS) able to support the decision-making and planning processes of decision-makers and public actors in the location of environmental compensation and mitigation interventions. The integrated model will specifically consider critical and sensitive areas to find the appropriate location for interventions.
By overlaying and processing different maps and data, it will be possible to elaborate suitability/priority maps of intervention useful for the localization of environmental compensation measures.
