Description Hydrogen fuel cells produce nearly pure water as waste. To date, this water stream is not reused, despite its high quality value. The thesis work, in collaboration with PUNCH, has as its main objectives the identification and assessment of the potential water reuse for agricultural purposes, such as the irrigation of crops or the application of plant protection products. In particular, tests will be related to the use of the wastewater as is, the wastewater possibly mixed with other aqueous streams, and the wastewater enriched with salts, nutrients, and plant protection products, and will encompass consequent analyses of the effects on crops and soil.
