Description The aim is the developement of a numerical model of the static and dynamic behaviour of an innovative Flywheel Energy Storage System (FESS) with magnetic bearings in order to reach high round-trip efficiency. The thesis project falls within the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for the development of innovative solutions for the accumulation of energy from renewable sources.
