Description The road network is a fundamental infrastructure for the accessibility and connection of different areas of the territory.
Critical events such as seismic or flooding events can affect the connectivity of the network by creating disruption scenarios.
The vulnerability of the road network can be analysed with different methodologies some of which are based on GIS tools and traffic simulators.
This thesis involves the application of these methodologies in selected case studies.
