Thesis type THESIS IN A COMPANY
Description The electromechanical actuators design for primary and secondary flight controls requires trade-off studies between the possible architectures, in order to satisfy the entire set of requirements (including aspects of performance, reliability, safety, weight, size, available power, operating environments).
Aim of this thesis is to develop a simulation model supported by optimization processes (based for example on AI, such as heuristic algorithms and machine learning), in order to automate the sensitivity study of the metrics of interest and the choice of the best technical solution within the imposed constraints.
The thesis is carried out in cooperation with an experienced development team, and it is based on the requirements specification of a practical application.
Notes Thesis in collaboration with Mecaer Aviation Group. Stage opportunity.
