Description Experimental activity on the micro modification of adhesive joints by means of thermally expandable particles (TEP). These particles are able to increase their volume when exposed to heat, they are able to partially damage the adhesive and trigger the separation of adhesive joints and components. This will allow to reuse or recyle the components at the end of life. This will be mainly and experimental activity on the mechanical and separation properties of these modified adhesives. The activity will take place in collaboration with the interdepartmental center J-Tech@polito, with the possibility of carrying out a preliminary integrated internship activity of 6 CFU (university credits)
