Description Gamification is defined as the application of elements that are typical of videogames (scores, competition with other players, game rules, etc.) to other types of activities, with the goal of increasing engagement and performance of the involved user. The goal of the thesis is the application of the typical gamification features to the practice of UML modeling and the relative assessment of the ensuing benefits.
The thesis wil consist in the development of a platform with features of competitive gaming for building UML Use Case Diagrams and providing estimation mechanisms through the use of Use Case Points (UCP).
The gaming mechanics will reward different of model quality such as completeness, correctness, consistency, minimality, and readability.
The system shall include functions to maintain score history and show the ranking of players.
Required skills Java / OOP development, knowledge of UML models
