Description The aim of the thesis is to consider the possible use of Raman spectroscopy for the measure of the glucose concentration in physiological solutions. After a proper investigation of the state of the art in the field of non-invasive measurements for blood glucose measurements, the student will analyse experimental data acquired by Raman spectroscopy. Different chemiometric techniques will be used in order to optimise their use in the glucose concentration estimation.
Required skills Basic knowledge about Raman spectroscopy, basic knowledge about chemiometrics.
