Description The use of high-performance materials to meet the increasing demands for weight reduction in vehicles raises doubts about the behavior of welded joints, which are also subjected to more targeted and controlled design. Starting from a known solution (supported by physical tests data), various FEM methodologies will be setted with the goal of identifying the solution that best aligns with experimental results, in order to establish a more rigorous design methodology that allows optimization during the development phase.
