Thesis type ANALYTICAL AND DESIGN
Description The ambient light is one of the most current and simultaneously complex aspects of vehicle interiors. The adopted solutions are continuously evolving and have significant margin for improvement. This thesis aims is to optimize an existing configuration already applied to various models with an innovative proposal. It involves replacing the existing two light guides with a single diffuser to enhance its performance and energy efficiency. The new geometry will be constrained by the Style volumes and the existing architecture and will include prisms and/or areas with textures to achieve the required optical optimizations. The system will still be powered by two power generators to manage different light signals, and these power generators will need to be reinstalled within the existing architecture.
Required skills 3D CAD design and modeling using software like SolidWorks (SW), Unigraphics (UG), or Catia. Basic knowledge of optical analysis and the use of optical software such as TracePro or equivalent."
Notes Reduction in the number of components, optimization of light diffusion intensity, and enhancement of light diffusion uniformity.
