Description The Politecnico recently redesigned its official app for students (called PoliTO Students) in collaboration with students and with Open Source principles (https://github.com/polito/students-app).
A similar path is planned for a new app dedicated to teachers and staff of the Politecnico, creating a parallel app equipped with the necessary functionalities for the various categories of personnel.
The thesis will include the participation in an extensive phase of needs analysis through interactions with users, and through benchmarking with other solutions. This will be followed by a design phase through mock-ups and prototypes, which will be continuously validated with the target users. Finally, a first implementation (a preliminary version) will proceed for internal testing. The thesis will see the collaboration, in presence and remotely, with the Politecnico's design team (ISIAD area).
The thesis result will be developed under an Open Source license and, if of adequate quality, may be used as the official app.
