Thesis type THEORETICAL-SIMULATIONS
Description The thesis project focuses on the simulation of accelerated electron trajectories in liquid environment with the "CASINO" Monte Carlo simulation software, focusing on Liquid Phase Transmission Electron Microscopy applications. The influence of the electro-optical parameters on the electron trajectories will be systematically investigated. Meaningful information will be extracted from the distribution of electron trajectories (by means of MATLAB/Python) and the results from the simulations will be correlated with the experiments.
