Description This thesis project focuses on the development and optimization of advanced sample preparation techniques for electrochemical Liquid Phase Transmission Electron Microscopy experiments. The main goal is the localized deposition of catalysts in the form of nanostructured powders at the micro-scale.
Two main strategies are envisioned for the project:
1) inkjet-printing: optimization of the ink formulation and the printing parameters
2) drop-casting coupled with removable polymeric (Parylene) masks: optimization of the mask design
