Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL THESIS
Description The aim of this thesis project is to develop piezoresistive/piezocapacitive sensors for applications in wearable technologies. For such applications, polymeric matrices are used, to make these materials soft and flexible. To ensure electrical conductivity, that also varies with the application of external stimuli, two-dimensional materials must be introduced.
The student will have the opportunity to explore the synthesis and chemical modification of such nanomaterials, the polymerization methods for the matrix and the characterization of the sensors.
Required skills Chemistry of Materials
