Description The secondary agroindustry in the wine sector includes all the operations and processes that take place from the last phase of grape ripening up to the entire process of winemaking, conservation and transport of the wine.
As part of a broader research project, we propose a thesis work relating to the creation of a mobile robot that will work in cellars to automate the process of collecting and transporting wine samples. The device must be able to position itself correctly in correspondence with the wine tasting tap of the barrel, open it, eliminate the waste wine and place the necessary one in a test tube. It will then have to close the tap, restore the initial conditions of the system (rinsing the pipes with water), place the test tube in the correct position, then repeat the operations in the subsequent barrels and finally transport the samples to the cellar's analysis laboratory.
With reference to the attached diagram, the system can be divided into subsystems: 1. the mobile platform, 2. the robotic arm, 4. the end effector capable of carrying out the required operations.
