Description The development of power devices in the last decade has undergone a rapid acceleration, led by the automotive sector, due to the growth of the electric car market (Electric Vehicle). The required power devices have very stringent application conditions (Harsh Environment) and new technological processes are required for passivation of the components. These protective layers are called "passivation layers", which can be of an inorganic type, such as the main dielectrics already in use in the microelectronics sector or with the application of additional organic films. The interaction between the different materials as well as the quality of the thin films produced requires a careful study of the structural and morphological characteristics in order to optimize the multilayer, to suit the application.
