Description This thesis is performed in collaboration between Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and the research institute Empa (Switzerland) and plans to be carried out at Empa. The aim of this work is to investigate the influence of accounting for performance degradation on the optimal sizing and operation of hydrogen systems.

Required skills Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, with a background in engineering, energy systems, or a related field. Proficiency in numerical modelling and optimization tools, as well as programming skills in Python or MATLAB, is required.
