Description The thesis involves the whole process of data acquisition and analytics for the optimization, monitoring and conditional maintenance of tire production. Depending on the profile of the student, activities can focus on:
- IoT infrastructure (sensors, OPC servers, etc)
- database and timeseries management
- business analytics
- advanced analytics based e.g. on machine learning
- process optimization, to correlate process parameters and collected data to improve the process
The specific process and activity will be agreed at the time of thesis request, with a preliminary call with the Michelin digital leader.
Collaboration with local team. No language restrictions (Italian and English are both ok, French may be useful but is not required).
Expected 3 days full time / week at Michelin Cuneo (Ronchi locality) with reimbursement of expenses.
