Description Starting from a large set of traffic data of mobile networks, the thesis has two objectives
- the characterization of traffic based on key indices like: duration and extension of peaks, traffic volumes for the various services, mean and variance, ...
- the application of machine learning techniques to classify the traffic traces of different base stations based on some of their characteristics such as: duration of traffic peaks, high and low peak ratio, duration of low load periods
- machine-learning based prediction of traffic
