Description Browser based web conferencing technologies can be exploited to create virtual acoustic environments for the cultivation of the capacity to listen to and connect with remote heritage sites.
In collaboration with the Acoustic Atlas project the thesis objective is to add interaction between people visiting the Acoustic Atlas experience website [1] where they will be able to sing and emit sound into virtual acoustic heritage environments and experience how their voices, as human sonar signals, reveal the hidden interiors, forms and textures of these heritage sites
The software application will be implemented as a web application by means of Javascript, HTML, CSS, the WebRTC technology [2] and a bit of Node.js programming.
