Description Nonstructural elements play a critical role in the overall seismic performance and resilience of buildings during seismic events. Protecting these elements from damage and ensuring their functionality after an earthquake is essential for the safety of occupants and the rapid recovery of essential services.
Analysis of the dynamic and seismic behaviour of nonstructural elements, innovative materials and technologies for their seismic protection, computational modelling and simulation techniques, seismic codes, standards, and guidelines for design and qualification will be dealt with.
