Description This master's project focuses on the experimental investigation of Au and Pt bimetallic nanoclusters (NC) for glucose electro-oxidation (GOR), aiming to enhance non-enzymatic glucose sensors (NEGS). It involves clean-room deposition of these materials, using methods like dewetting, and extensive characterization of their crystal phase, orientation, size, and density. The project will also assess the electronic transport properties of the NCs for GOR using voltametric techniques, combining theoretical and practical aspects of material science, solid-state physics, and electrochemistry.
