Descrizione This thesis explores the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the edge to enhance precision agriculture. By deploying IoT sensors in the field, real-time data on soil moisture, temperature, and crop health can be collected. AI algorithms process this data at the edge, providing actionable insights to farmers, optimizing irrigation, and improving crop yield. This orchestration minimizes latency and reduces the need for cloud-based processing, making it a cost-effective and efficient solution for modern agriculture.
