Description This research explores the intersection of edge computing with the use of language and vision models to create assistive robotic systems for individuals with disabilities. By combining natural language processing and computer vision, the thesis aims to design and develop software that runs on robots capable of understanding and responding to verbal commands and visual cues. These robots can assist with daily tasks, improve mobility, and enhance the overall quality of life for individuals with disabilities, promoting greater independence and autonomy.
