Estimation of the design rainfall in a climate change context
Reference persons PIERLUIGI CLAPS, PAOLA MAZZOGLIO
Description The candidate will conduct a literature review of the different approaches currently in use for estimating the design rainfall. These methods will be applied to an Italian case study to identify the variability of the design rainfall depending on the method used for its estimation.
Required skills Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Matlab, possibly also R or Python) and GIS software (QGIS or ArcMap).
