Similarity of Images Containing Waste Through Deep Learning

Description Waste management is a complicated problem. Consumerism leads to a continuous increase in production and consumption, often leading to an equally conspicuous increase in waste production. For this reason, companies and researchers are finding ways to improve their management through innovative techniques.
Therefore, the purpose of the thesis is to verify if it is possible to compare two images containing waste using Deep Learning techniques. This will be useful for improving recycling procedures. The student could then verify this possibility using Siamese Neural Networks or similar methods.
Basics of Python and machine learning are not required but are strongly recommended.
